NewPeak Metals (ASX: NPM) is a mineral resource company with a particular focus on discovering a multimillion ounce Gold deposit. Unlike most explorers, NewPeak is a diversified junior. NewPeak has established strong Gold exploration assets in 3 of the top mining jurisdictions globally – Argentina, New Zealand, Finland. Further, NewPeak has a group of Critical Mineral and Tungsten exploration assets in Sweden. The Company strategically holds a 23.6% stake in Oil and Gas company, Lakes Blue Energy NL (ASX:LKO).
Finland is second only to Western Australia in the world for mining investment based on the Investment Attractiveness Index. It has also become the European Union’s top producer of Gold over the last decade.
NewPeak’s suite of Southern Finland projects lie in a region which currently hosts three Gold mines (Orivesi, Jokisivu and Kaapelinkulma) with a processing facility at Vammala, all operated by Dragon Mining Limited (HKEx: 1712).
Hopeavouri is the most advanced prospect. 54 shallow diamond holes (3,341m) have been drilled to evaluate a mineralized structure 30m wide that extends over the drilled strike length of 300m.
Drilling has only tested to 75-100m below surface. Within this zone there are 132 anomalous mineralized drilling intercepts with some of the best including: R305: 11.5m at 19.4 g/t Gold from 30.6m depth;
R313: 10.7m at 14.4 g/t Gold from 4.0m depth;
R330: 3.0m at 106.7 g/t Gold from 22.0m depth.

Las Opeñas porphyry and epithermal vein Gold project in San Juan with impressive assays up to 54.2g/t Gold and to 3,112g/t Silver.
System has intricate vein set composed of multiple veins and vein breccia varying from 200m to 2,200m in length, stacked over a corridor width up to 200m and open in all directions.
Las Opeñas breccia has similar geological characteristics to the Gold Fields, Salares Nortes - a high grade Gold and Silver deposit in Chile.
Several targets are drill ready, with confirmation of Gold at moderate depths from test phase drilling early 2019.
Two large 600-800m long and 100-150m wide chargeability anomalies were defined in a GAIP survey conducted at Belleza Target. A target that warrants drilling.
JORC drilling is a priority and is in planning stages.

Cachi projects providing initial robust geological results up to 17.8 g/t Gold.
Vetas Cachi Target is the largest target with a structural corridor of 1,000m long by 315m wide, open in all directions.
Geo analysis indicates presence of extensive veining at depth.
Region is host to multi-million ounce gold reserves and mines - Cerro Negro (Goldcorp) and Cerro Vanguardia (AngloGold Ashanti).
Vetas Cachi maiden drilling successfully completed proving system is fertile at depth (ASX release 22 February 2021).
NewPeak owns a 75% stake in the Cap Burn Gold Project, in Otago, New Zealand, through an earn-in joint venture with MRJV (Mineral Rangahau Joint Venture). NewPeak also has 100% ownership in several other Otago Gold properties, between OceanaGold’s Macraes Mine in the east, and the Santana-Matakanui Bendigo-Ophir project in the west.
Cap Burn is the most advanced target of NewPeak’s New Zealand Gold Projects. Historical rock samples have returned values of up to 3.25g/t Gold.
A Maiden drilling program at Cap Burn was completed to test the main large, mineralised surface anomaly within the project’s East Block and multiple anomalies on the West Block.
